Please do not send confidential documents. If you are reporting a wrong reading, remove or black out names, phone numbers and anything covered by a confidentiality agreement first, or describe what went wrong instead of sending the file.
Open the Today tab. If no call sheet is open, the loading screen is already there; if one is open, tap Load (the upload icon) at the top left. Choose a PDF or a photo, or paste the text. The App reads it and shows times, scenes, people, transport and places. If you just want to look around, tap Open an example. Files up to 25 MB are supported.
Yes, from the same screen. The App recognises a transport list by itself and offers to add it to your call sheet. Loading it does not use up one of your readings.
The reading is done by an AI service and can make mistakes, especially with very dense tables or low-quality scans. Always check important times against the original document. If some sections could not be read, the App tells you which ones. Tap Edit (or Fix) on the call sheet to complete or correct them by hand.
Tap Who are you? at the top of the call sheet and pick your name. The App then highlights your call, pick-up, make-up and scenes.
Without a subscription: 3 readings per month. With The Set Pro: 30 per billing period. Only successful readings count, and a call sheet you have already read never locks: you can always open it again. Settings → Readings shows how many you have used and when the count resets.
End of shooting is when filming stops. Wrap is when the set is cleared and the vans are closed. The App shows both. Overtime in your work log counts from the wrap.
It is the time you worked after the scheduled wrap on the call sheet, worked out from your actual start time, so it also works past midnight. If the call sheet has no wrap, the App uses the end of shooting and tells you so. It is an estimate, not a payroll calculation: check it against your contract.
Open the day in the Hours tab and tap Send to the production manager. The App prepares an email with the PDF attached; you only need to tap Send. If the call sheet has no email for that person, the App asks you to type it once. To send it another way, use Export and share, which lets you pick WhatsApp, Mail or any other app.
Alerts are scheduled on your phone when you open a call sheet, and only for times that are still ahead. Check that notifications are allowed for The Set in iOS settings, and that the alerts you want are on in Settings → Alerts.
Tap Share, scroll the row of apps and choose The Set. If you cannot see it, tap Edit at the bottom of the list of apps and move it to the top.
Swipe a call sheet in Archive to delete it. Deleting the App removes everything it stored on your phone. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to documents sent for reading.
